This Privacy Policy explains how Lilikin collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our website and place a pre-order or order.

1. Who we are

We are Lilikin, a UK-based seller of portable baby chairs.

• Trading name: Lilikin
• Email: hello@lilikin.co.uk

For privacy questions, contact us at the email above.

2. What information we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:

• Contact and delivery details: name, email address, delivery address (and phone number if you provide it during Stripe Checkout).
• Order details: products ordered, quantities, amounts paid, and order reference numbers.
• Payment information: card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number on our servers. Stripe handles card data as an independent payment provider.
• Technical data: basic information your browser sends (such as IP address and browser type) as part of normal website operation and security logs on our hosting provider.
• Usage data (only if you accept analytics cookies): pages viewed, products looked at or added to your bag, and purchases, collected by Google Analytics to help us understand how the site is used.
• Messages you send us: if you email hello@lilikin.co.uk.
• Email list: if you join our 10% offer or newsletter, we store the email address you give us in Mailchimp.

We do not run customer accounts or logins on this website. We do not knowingly collect personal data about children under 13; orders are placed by parents or guardians.

3. How we collect information

• When you complete our checkout form and pay via Stripe Checkout
• When you join our email list for 10% off (or other updates)
• When you contact us by email
• Automatically through essential website functions (for example, your shopping bag stored in your browser)

4. How we use your information

• To take payment and fulfil pre-orders and orders
• To send order confirmations and updates about delivery
• To respond to your questions and provide customer service
• To keep business records (for example accounting and product safety)
• To improve our website and prevent fraud or abuse

We will only send marketing emails if you have asked us to (for example the 10% offer signup or a newsletter), and you can opt out at any time.

5. Legal basis (UK GDPR)

• Contract: processing orders and pre-orders you place
• Legitimate interests: running and securing our website and business
• Legal obligation: tax, accounting, and product safety records where required
• Consent: optional marketing emails, and analytics cookies if you accept them

6. Who we share information with

We only share what is needed to run the business:

• Stripe — payment processing (Stripe Privacy Policy)
• Mailchimp — email list if you join our 10% offer (Mailchimp / Intuit Privacy Statement)
• Netlify — website hosting
• Resend — sends our order confirmation and reminder emails (Resend Privacy Policy)
• Google Analytics — website usage statistics, only if you accept analytics cookies (Google Privacy Policy)
• Email tools — if we use a service to notify us of orders, so we receive those details
• Delivery partners — when we ship (name and address as needed)
• Professional advisers or authorities — only where required by law or to protect our rights

We do not sell your personal information. We use Google Analytics only if you accept analytics cookies. We do not currently use Facebook Pixel or other advertising tools on this website.

7. Cookies

We use limited cookies and similar storage needed for the site to work (for example remembering items in your bag). With your permission we also use Google Analytics cookies. You can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings at the bottom of the page. See our Cookie Policy for details. We do not use advertising cookies at this time.

8. How long we keep information

We keep order and customer details for as long as needed to fulfil orders, handle returns or queries, and meet legal record-keeping requirements (often several years for financial records). You can ask us what we hold about you using the contact details above.

9. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).

To exercise your rights, email hello@lilikin.co.uk.

10. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information. Payment pages are provided by Stripe over secure connections. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

11. International transfers

Some providers (including Stripe) may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use appropriate safeguards required by law.

12. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top will change when we do. Please check this page periodically.

This Cookie Policy explains how Lilikin uses cookies and similar technologies on our website.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage in your browser. They help websites remember settings and keep basic features working.

Cookies and storage we use

We keep this site simple. We use what is needed for the shop to work, plus analytics cookies only if you accept them:

Essential storage does not require consent under UK rules, but we still explain it here for transparency. Analytics cookies are only set after you accept them in the cookie banner.

What we do not use (at present)

• Facebook Pixel or advertising / retargeting cookies
• Shopify store cookies (this site is not built on Shopify)

If we add advertising or marketing tools later, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first.

Payments (Stripe)

When you pay, you are taken to Stripe Checkout. Stripe may set its own cookies on its payment pages. Those are controlled by Stripe under their policies — see Stripe’s privacy information.

Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you block essential storage, the shopping bag and checkout may not work correctly.

You can accept or reject analytics cookies in the banner when you first visit, and change your choice at any time using Cookie settings at the bottom of the page. Rejecting them removes the Google Analytics cookies from your browser.

Updates

We may update this Cookie Policy when our use of cookies changes. The effective date above will be revised when we do.
